“The Radiant Glow”
The quest for spirituality is a continuous journey for us as our time here on Mother Earth passes. I have gathered bits and pieces from many encounters and from stories passed down from the generations before me. I don’t pretend to know the answers for anyone on their personal search but I do share what I have gathered if asked. Spiritually I am not full yet and the hunger for more presses my search. We as creatures of God have a need for answers for the way this life we are blessed is filled with rewards & struggles. Answers to these questions come in curious forms and not always is the timing we receive these answers convenient. Occasionally the ultimate answer isn’t at all what we desire or wish. I personally find spirituality in some of the most curious places and times. I do know that if you think you are spiritually full than you are not. My spiritual search has been and is a very crooked path, as each bend in the road is full of as many answers as questions. The reward at the end of our quest is not what it teaches us as much as it is what it teaches others about us. The key to a spiritual life is openness. Know that no one here on Mother Earth has all the answers and that the intent of our Creator is our search of a spiritual life.
Each of us needs a different degree of spirituality and some of my struggle has been trying to understand why some settle for less. A radiant glow fills me when I am in the presence of someone on the quest of a spiritual search. True spiritual encounters are not as rare as one might think but the openness to accept them is.
The passing of a friend always leaves me with the haunt of wondering if the spiritual path led them to the answers they needed. Did the spiritual answers calm the moment of rebirth. I lost a dear friend a few days ago that I know was spiritually right and I will miss the radiant glow of our spiritual sharing. My friend Carol Skalla led a spiritually abundant life, the willing nature to be open to all that is spiritual and joyfully share in the search.
The radiant glow fills me when I am in the presence!
