Mystical Yesterday

"Mystical Yesterday"

This mural was completed in December of 1990. Features the buffalo skull in ceremonial paint and is symbolic of the relationship to the vanished way of life between the horse and buffalo, which were such a big part of the Indian culture. Mural measures 18 feet x 130 feet and involved 200 hours and 22 gallons of paint It was funded through a matching grant from the State Arts Council and the Hominy Heritage Association.
